Selected Stitch Fix Projects
A selection of UX design work I did while working as a senior UX designer at Stitch Fix.
Points of Measure (POM)
To provide customers with the best possible fit, it’s essential to capture accurate measurements for each garment size. I designed and built a proof-of-concept prototype for the Points of Measure (POM) system, which enabled the warehouse team to record garment measurements using the Google Voice API.
(If you'd like to see a video demonstration, please contact me and I would be happy to send it.)
To evaluate input methods, I conducted a study comparing voice entry using the Google Voice API with manual keyboard input. In addition to completing measurements more quickly, the warehouse team found voice entry to be more natural and enjoyable to use.
Participant feedback
“I liked that I never had to remove my hands from the tape”
"This felt better for my back”
Merchandising Re-buys
This interface replaced a spreasheet based and unwieldy process for managing and tracking merchandise re-buys.
Reforecast Tool (ROF)
The reforecast tool was used by the merchandising planning team to reforecast the buys for the upcoming seasons.
Accessory Picking
The accessory picking tool is a focused mobile application designed for use on warehouse scanning devices. It ensures that team members select the correct accessory and place it in the right box for shipment to the customer. The interface is intentionally minimal, showing only the most essential information at each scan.
